Talk about a turn of the century. We are entering unchartered territory. The last time that Pluto transited in Aquarius was in 1777. Letβs look back to what was happening the last time Pluto was transiting Aquarius. The Declaration of Independence had been signed in 1776, but the territories were still fighting against the British rule. However, at the same time the territories were also waging war against the Indigenous nations. There was also the French Revolution. Needless to say it was about revolutions. And on top of that, there was the Industrial Revolution. Meaning life as we knew it was changed forever because of the revolutions that took place. It has taken 248 years for Pluto to again make its transit through Aquarius again.
What does that mean for us nowadays? Revolutions, revolutions, revolutions. Weβre already seeing the effects with ChatGPT taking us by storm. Our government is being revolutionized regardless of how we feel about it. The effects are coming at us from all different angles. No one is safe from the Outlaw Aquarius that refuses to walk to anything except the beat of its own drum.
And then comes Plutoβ¦the Lord of the Underworld. Most people forget that the purpose of the Lord of the Underworld is to shine light on what is in the dark. He does this so we can see what is already in the light and what hides in the dark. Pluto represents life, death, and rebirth. In life you must face what is in the dark in order for your old self to die and the new you to be reborn. Pluto doesnβt bring an easy transition, he makes it hard and painful. If it wasnβt painful, the true you wouldnβt come through. This world forces us to wear so many masks that sometimes they become infused to who we are. To pull those masks off, there is an enormous amount of pain to peel it off your skin.
Pluto is coming in for us to see ourselves and the world exactly as they are so we are faced with a choice. Will you accept that you too have a dark side that needs to be reckoned with or will you pretend it doesnβt exist and continue on as business as usual? When you accept your dark side and begin to integrate it, you get closer to the divine. Light allows us to grow, but the dark is where life begins.
How does this affect us here on earth and individually? Thatβs where the houses come into place. But taking one step further, I lay out the cards based on their planetary/sign associations. For this transit, Pluto rules over the The Judgement Tarot card and Aquarius rules over The Star Tarot card. The stars tell us what is happening, but Tarot tells us our life lessons. This is how we can breakdown what is really being asked of us over this 20 (yes, I said 20) year transit.
Letβs start with the Sign since that is the lesson we are to learn. The Star is the innovator, the hopeful, the revolutionary. The lesson is to learn how to be socially conscious in innovative ways that leads humanity to the next step. Bewareβ¦not everyone is ready for their assignment. The Judgement card asks you to see the dark and light side of yourself so the Angel of Death can call your true self back to life after your ego dies. The Judgement card becomes your teacher β showing you how to live up to your fullest potential.

Pluto in Aquarius through the Houses
In the 1st house, The Star card reminds you to have hope. You are an innovator β donβt lose hope. You break rules just by existing. This may have been hard, but have hope. Donβt be afraid to own your space and exist as you are. As your teacher, The Judgement card demands you see all sides of how you present to the world and your health. Put the work in now and make sure you show up as your most authentic self. The more you pretend who you are isnβt real, the more your physical health will pay.
In the 2nd house, The Star reminds you that values are what you make them. You may see the world differently and value innovation, the things that scare others you are willing to tackle. When Judgement is placed in the 2nd house, it is here to teach you about your values, how you view/make money, all your habits, and material possessions. Be honest with yourself about the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects. The only way to come out of this transit further ahead is put the work in now and see yourself as you really are when it comes to your material possessions, habits, and values. Like they say, no pain no gain.
In the 3rd house, The Star reminds you that communication and commerce shouldnβt always follow the rules. You communicate in ways people never expected and have a business savvy that rivels Elon Musk. When Judgement appears in the 3rd house, how you communicate in business, with your siblings, with your community will dramatically change. This wonβt be an easy process, but remember that it takes two to tango. If there are failures in communication, you must take responsibility on your end as well.
In the 4th house, The Star reminds you that families are what you make it. Your home life doesnβt need to fit into the status quo, it only needs to fit into what you believe. Judgement asks you how you deal with your own mother, your house, your self-care, and your family unit. There are major changes coming that will be painful, but if you deal with the pain now instead of finding short cuts, it will pay off in spades. Some relationships arenβt meant to last and even though itβs painful, itβs necessary. As long as you see all sides, both light and the dark, you can be honest about what is necessary.
In the 5th house, your hobbies and the way you raise your children are different than what society would expect. The Star reminds you to have hope and innovate, you are leading the way. When Judgement comes to the 5th house, how you express yourself takes center stage in a dramatic way. Your creativity will be on full blast and you will be all about the good time. One of two things can end up happening, your hobbies may become a great outlet or even source of income. Or, you can find yourself getting lost in the clouds as a way to escape reality. All play and no work can make Johnny a very poor boy.
In the 6th house, The Star reminds you to carve out how you work best and how you serve others the best. It wonβt be what others expect, but it will be what sits best with you. Judgement in the 6th house will shine a light on your health and work habits. Seeing that both sides of the coin are needed doesnβt mean your health needs to be sacrificed for the sake of your work and vice versa. We all have to earn our way through this world, but we also only have one body. Although this wonβt be as stark as Judgement in the 1st house, if you donβt listen to your body now you may find yourself in worse shape in 20 years asking yourself if it was worth it in the first place.
In the 7th house, The Star asks you to redefine marriage and partnerships β open marriages may not suit society but they may suit you. Judgement comes to teach you in the 7th house that both sides need to put their work in to be successful in marriage or in business. If you give too much of yourself, it may be too difficult to break the habit and wonder why everyone always takes from you. We all have to take responsibility for our actions, even if we donβt think we are to blame. However, on the same token make sure you arenβt taking advantage of those around you. Seeing life honestly letβs you see exactly why you should or shouldnβt be in the relationship or partnership. But the same can go for the other person as well.
In the 8th house, sex doesnβt have to be so vanilla. Sexual innovations and conquests are okay, as long as you are honest with what you are okay with. Judgement as a teacher is here to show you that sex and other peopleβs money can be an asset or the very carrot on a stick that causes abuse, your choice. Sometimes the most vulnerable can be the people who are willing to try anything β but those can also be the people that do the most harm. Staying grounded during this transit will be difficult, but it will also ensure that your sexual encounters or the money you receive from others have a lot less strings attached.
In the 9th house, the way you travel and learn are done your way. Status quo is a joke because you have a PhD in outside of the box. As the eternal student, Judgement is here to make sure you donβt run from your problems. You can try, but it will only be a fleeting escape. Addictions can come in many forms, and learning can be just as addictive as anything else. Losing yourself in any type of education or travel only prolongs the inevitable. Being honest with yourself on what your goals are will set you up for success.
In the 10th house, The Star asks you to think about your career in a different way. You are not defined by the structures of society. Donβt back downβ¦your outlaw self is ready to redefine what career means to you. Judgement asks you to look at how you present yourself publicly and in your career. Your relationship with a male figure thatβs been like a father will be looked at as well. Sometimes we arenβt prepared to see ourselves without the rose colored glasses, because when we do itβs a shock. Sometimes we donβt want to admit that weβve allowed ourselves to be the door mat, or made others our door mats.
In the 11th house, The Star asks that you think of ways to innovate your group dynamics and those that follow you. Being a leader means you think of the entire group and what would be the best socially for them. Judgement calls you to show your receipts or start getting some. Being socially aware is one thing β everyone can talk a good game. However, if you donβt have the receipts to back up your talk you may find yourself feeling like an outcast instead of the outlaw bringing about change.
In the 12th house, The Star reminds you that sometimes you have to lose yourself in order to find yourself in the first place. Your spirituality and subconscious donβt operate like others β you create your own spirituality and what it means to you. Judgement is here to teach you that anyone can be a zealot β even the spiritualists. Just as easy as it is to become a zealot, itβs just as easy to get suckered by one. Being honest about what you are giving and what you are getting will make sure you arenβt lead down a dark path. Itβs also an important time to make sure you donβt get lost in the hidden nuggets of your subconscious youβve been putting off.
No one knows what will happen as much as we would like to think we do. We can all make predictions. However, no matter what those of us in the woo-woo side of things say, always talk to your doctors and follow any legal advice. Stay safe and remember that there is a reason we say as within so without. Our internal emotions determine the situations we find ourselves in, and by taking accountability for our own actions we can better take the reins of our own livesβ¦so shall it be!
